I would like to say that being part of Dennis’s life during the early years of drag racing in Canada was an honour and a privilege to be associated with such a great innovator of engine technology. That was truly a part of my past I will always remember. Dennis and John Osbourne worked with me a lot in the early years offering their ideas and machining skills by helping me build performance racing engines that made all the difference when competing. Dennis’s dedication to Canada’s Drag Racing programs will always be remembered by his friends and colleagues.
To Ryan, Heather, Janice and Jennifer. I would like to relay my deepest condolences for your loss of a kind and gentle man I remembered, and his kindness to all racers in the drag racing world. A true fan of your father.
And from my friends and colleagues, Danny McLennan, Gary McLennan, Paul Eyman, Steve Pinn, Pat Browne and Grace, we hope the memories of your father will live on as he was a great Canadian ambassador for all things good in racing.
